Product Information YAK-5 Modules are improved for 20 pair splicing connections. They are for simplifying and speeding up the connecting work on cables with more than 200 pairs.

U-contact principle strips the conductors insulation and completes a gas-tight, solder-equivalent termination and gives efficiency of multi-pair splicing. Excess wire is automatically trimmed by stainless steel cutt off blades, when the Module is crimped.
Special Splicing Rig accommodates reliable, cost effective multi-pair connection in any combination of 0,35 - 0,8 mm (27-20 AWG) with a maximum outer diameter of 1,65 mm (0,065 in).
YAK-5 modules decreases the installation time, reworking demands and makes saving time and effort in craft's construction and maintenance.
The Module covers, bodies, and bases are produced from durable polycarbonate, and compatible with materials common to telecommunication products and also these parts are color-coded, yellow and green to easy identify.
For the later rearrengements or transfers the covers matte finish could accept pen or pencil for the pair identification.
YAK-5 modules enable you to make all tests accomplished without opening the Module, stripping insulation or otherwise interrupting service.
