Yak-4 Splicing Rig contains all components necessary for crimping and testing of module connections.

All the splicing rig components are set in a specially designed metal case.

The lightweight and durable hand/hydraulic crimping unit delivers uniform crimping pressure across the full lenght of the module. When the proper crimping pressure is reached, bypass valve releases automatically.

The YAK-3B Sealant Box is a thin-walled plastic box containing a specially compounded moisture resistant sealant. When installed on a YAK-3 module the splice joint is made water resistant , even to the extent of being able to withstand total water immersion for a limited period of time
